Mirrors are deceptively hard to install well. A wall-to-wall install over uneven plaster looks like a funhouse if it is not measured right. A heavy gym mirror that is not properly cleated will eventually pull off the wall. A beveled vanity piece without proper polishing on the back edges reads cheap. We do all three correctly. We custom-cut mirrors to any shape and size, finish edges (flat polish, beveled, pencil polish, or mitered), and install with the right method for the substrate — mirror cleats or a full mastic-and-clip system depending on the wall and the load. We work with interior designers and architects on residential and commercial projects from Tribeca lofts to Brooklyn townhouses.

What designers and homeowners ask first.

  • Can you cut a custom or non-rectangular shape?

    Yes. We cut round, oval, arched, and free-form shapes from any of our standard mirror thicknesses. We template the shape on-site or work from a digital file.

  • Do you offer beveled edges?

    Yes — flat polish, pencil polish, mitered, and beveled (typically 3/4" or 1" bevel) are all standard. We can also do custom bevel widths on request.

  • Can you install on uneven walls?

    Yes. We assess the wall before quoting. For significantly out-of-plane surfaces, we use shims and a cleat-and-clip system to keep the mirror flat without bowing.

  • How thick are the mirrors?

    Standard residential mirror is 1/4" thick. We also offer 3/16" for lighter applications and 1/4"+ heavy-duty silvered glass for gym installs. We help you pick based on size and use.

  • Mirror cleats vs adhesive — which do you use?

    For most installs we use a hybrid: stainless cleat at the top + clear silicone mastic across the back + clips at the bottom. This combination holds securely on any substrate (drywall, plaster, tile) and is removable for future renovation.
