Services
Glow Glass & Window Corp provides glass repair, replacement, and custom installation services across the five boroughs of New York City. All work is performed by licensed glaziers and is covered by our liability insurance. Specific work scope, pricing, and timeline are governed by the written estimate for each individual job.
Estimates and pricing
We provide free written estimates before any work begins. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. The price quoted at acceptance is the price you pay, except where you authorize additional scope in writing.
Payment
- Residential work: payment due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Commercial work: net-15 from invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods: credit card, ACH bank transfer, business check, Zelle.
- Late payments accrue interest at 1.5 % per month or the maximum allowed by law.
Warranty
- Workmanship: 1-year warranty against install defects under normal use.
- Insulated glass units: 10-year manufacturer warranty against seal failure.
- Hardware (closers, hinges, pivots): warranty per the manufacturer of the specific component.
Warranty does not cover damage from impact, vandalism, weather events, improper cleaning, or modifications made after our install. Warranty service is provided at no cost during the warranty period for covered defects.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule any non-emergency appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time at no charge. Cancellations within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a trip fee equal to one hour of labor. Emergency dispatches do not have a cancellation window.
Property access and damage
You agree to provide reasonable access to the property and to the work area on the scheduled appointment date. We take care to protect surrounding surfaces and clean up all glass debris. Pre-existing conditions (cracked tile, damaged frames, water damage) discovered during work are documented and reported to you; we are not responsible for conditions present before our work began.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific job giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or incidental damages.
Use of the website
You may use our website for personal, non-commercial purposes — viewing services, requesting estimates, and contacting us. You may not copy, redistribute, or scrape content without written permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute related to our services will be resolved in the courts of Kings County, New York.
Changes
We may update these terms periodically. Changes apply to services contracted after the update; existing contracts remain governed by the terms in effect when accepted.
