A glass top protects a beautiful table from rings, scratches, and heat — and turns a plain table into a designer piece. The right glass top is the right thickness, the right edge, and the right cut. Too thin and it flexes; too thick and it looks heavy. Wrong edge and it catches fingers. We cut tempered safety glass to any shape — round, oval, free-form — finish edges to your spec (flat polish, pencil polish, bevel, or miter), and deliver across Manhattan and Brooklyn. For protective tops over wood furniture we typically recommend 3/8" tempered with a flat-polish edge. For dining and coffee tables, 1/2" tempered with a 3/4" bevel is the most popular pick.

Can you cut a non-standard or free-form shape?
Yes. We template the shape on-site (paper or laser) or work from your CAD file. Free-form, kidney, irregular oval — any shape that can be drawn can be cut.What thicknesses do you offer?
Standard options are 3/16" (light protective use), 1/4" (most protective tops), 3/8" (small dining tables, side tables), 1/2" (large dining and coffee tables), and 3/4" (heavy designer tops). We help you pick based on size and use.Tempered vs annealed — which do I need?
Tempered is required by code for any glass top that will see use as a table surface (dining, coffee, side). It is heat-treated for impact resistance and breaks into harmless pebbles. Annealed is only appropriate for protective overlays on solid furniture where the glass itself does not bear load.How much extra does a beveled edge cost?
Beveled edges add roughly 15–25 % to the cost of the top vs a flat-polish edge, depending on the bevel width and the perimeter length. We quote exactly at the estimate.Do you deliver and install?
Yes — we deliver tops carefully wrapped and fit them on-site, including non-slip pads to protect the underlying furniture. Delivery is included for orders within Manhattan and Brooklyn; outer-borough delivery is a small additional fee.
