General

General questions

  • How much does glass repair cost in NYC?

It depends on the glass type, size, and access. Standard residential glass-only swaps typically run $200–$600. Custom shower enclosures, storefront installs, and specialty glass run higher. We give free, transparent estimates before any work begins — the quote you accept is the quote you pay.
  • How fast can you respond?

Most Manhattan and Brooklyn emergency calls reach a crew within 90 minutes, day or night. Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island typically dispatch within 2–3 hours. Scheduled work is usually same-week for residential and 48 hours for storefront emergencies.
  • How do I schedule an estimate?

Call (917) 771-4777 any hour, or fill out a request through the Get a Free Estimate form. We confirm a time on the call and arrive on the dot.
  • What payment methods do you accept?

Credit card, ACH bank transfer, business check, and Zelle. For commercial work we invoice net-15 on accepted terms.
  • Do you work with insurance claims?

Yes. We provide before/after photos, detailed scope of work, and itemized invoices that match standard homeowner and commercial property claim requirements. We can also coordinate directly with adjusters.

Emergency Service

Emergency Service questions

  • Are you really 24/7?

Yes — real glaziers, real phones, day or night. Call (917) 771-4777 any hour and you reach our team, not an answering service.
  • Will you board up a broken storefront before the permanent install?

Yes. For most break-ins, vandalism, or storm damage we secure the opening with a code-compliant board-up the same night and return with the right glass for the permanent install — usually within 48 hours.
  • Do you charge extra for nights or weekends?

There is no surprise after-hours surcharge. Emergency pricing is quoted before any work begins and held to the quote — same as our daytime work.
  • How fast can you reach me on a Saturday at 3am?

Under 2 hours for most Manhattan and Brooklyn addresses, even overnight. Outer boroughs typically 2–3 hours. We confirm the exact ETA before we hang up.
  • Can you handle commercial storefronts at night?

Yes — that is when most of our storefront emergencies happen. Vandalism, break-ins, vehicle hits. We board-up immediately and schedule the permanent install around your hours so the business can keep operating.

Service-Specific

Service-Specific questions

  • What types of glass do you install?

Tempered safety glass, laminated safety glass, double-pane insulated glass units (IGUs), triple-pane high-performance IGUs, Low-E coated glass, fire-rated glass for commercial work, antiqued and decorative glass for designer installs, and structural glass for railings and partitions.
  • Do you offer a warranty on installs?

Yes. New insulated glass units carry a 10-year manufacturer warranty against seal failure. Workmanship on installs is warrantied for 1 year. Hardware (closers, hinges, pivots) carries the manufacturer warranty for that part.
  • Can you do custom-shaped or non-standard glass?

Yes. Round, oval, arched, free-form, mitered — we template on-site or work from your CAD file and cut to spec in our Brooklyn shop.
  • What is the lead time on custom or specialty glass?

Standard insulated glass units typically run 5–7 business days. Custom shapes, specialty coatings, or laminated tempered units run 2–3 weeks. We confirm exact lead time at the estimate.
  • Do you handle landmarked or historic glass?

Yes. For landmarked façades we coordinate with the Landmarks Preservation Commission, match original glass profiles and decorative inserts, and follow building-specific historic preservation protocols.

Service Area

Service Area questions

  • What boroughs do you serve?

All five — Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island. We are Brooklyn-based with priority coverage on Manhattan and Brooklyn (faster response, more capacity), plus full service across the outer boroughs.
  • How fast can you respond by borough?

Manhattan and Brooklyn: under 90 minutes for most emergency calls, day or night. Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island: 2–3 hours typical dispatch. Scheduled work is same-week in every borough.
  • Do you work outside NYC?

Our regular service area is the five boroughs. For larger commercial projects in adjacent counties (Westchester, Nassau, lower Hudson) we will consider on a case-by-case basis — give us a call.
